1970 Atlantic 45 singles

Here are some Atlantic 45 RPM singles for 1970 tunes...
quite a collection of colors...

notice the different spellings of the Led Zeppelin tune...
the two red labels are one sided promos, the other
side being a blank white label with no song track...
the yellow label (usually only seen on '50's Atlantic's), is a
German pressing... I wonder if there are any other label colors?
my buddy Tim would probably know... say what Tim?.....

Tim came thru with four more labels...

I'm a Believer

I buddy of mine "http://zorchv38.blogspot.com/" turned me on to a cover of the Monkees hit "I'm a believer" by "Nancy Sit" from the "http://garagehangover.com/" web site..

This has prompted me to collect a potpourri of said song...

I'm a Believer:

Monkees - I'm A Believer (mono AM radio hit)
Neil Diamond - I'm a Believer (he wrote it)
Monkees - I'm A Believer (Live 1967)
Dolenz Jones Boyce & Hart - I'm a Believer (Live)
EMF, Reeves & Mortimer - I'm A Believer (Cover)
Nancy Sit - I'm a Believer (Cover)
Smash Mouth - I'm A Believer (Karaoke)

Jolly Cholly's... Video...

I have had some great responses to my pics of Jolly Cholly's, so I just had to post some video. I didn't actually create this home movie, but just felt I had to share it with fans, enjoy...

Jolly Cholly's Home Movie

P.S. warning, it's quite large at 24M in size.

Doctor Demento

Here are a few cuts from The Doctor, as broadcast in the early 80's...
As it's Summer when I'm writing this, the first cut has a kool kollection of summer clips, the second cut is certainly a good warning for those who still play vinyl records, the next cut was inspired by the second and has some interesting sound effects, and the last is a great spoof on the song "Muskrat Love"....

Damaskus - Summer Songs

Don't Leave Your Records in the Sun

Wes Harrison - Better Late Than Never

Big Daddy - Hampster Love

Bobby's Rollaway

Anyone remember this place in Pawtucket RI,
I was surprised to find I had a TV commercial for it...
